SUPREME POWER EQUIPMENT LIMITED (formerly known as SUPREME POWER EQUIPMENTS) constituted as a partnership firm was established in 1994 for catering to the transformer requirements of the Local Electric Utility –TAMILNADU ELECTRICITY BOARD upto the capacity of 500KVA only.

The above company was taken over by a new management consisting of two young energetic and dynamic engineering graduates with the same constitution of partnership firm during 1996 by which the company was upgraded in all areas such as Design, Factory Infrastructure including testing bay and marketing of transformers, upto a capacity of 5000KVA, 33KV Class.

The WIND MILL SEGMENT was penetrated by the new management with innovative design aspects adopted at our end suiting the requirement of stringent technical specification of the customers. We wish to proudly state the fact that we are the leading supplier of Transformers having supplied more than 1500Nos. ranging from 315KVA/11KV to 2250KVA/33KV to various Wind Mill projects in india of multinational companies namely Vestas in Denmark, Gamesa in Spain, Winwind in Finland and Indian companies like Suzlon and Pioneer Group. We in SPEL have developed expertise for manufacture of Transformers required for windmill projects to withstand frequent switching and voltage variances and power delivery from the wind mill generator to the grid.

During 2005, The Constitution of the Company was upgraded as Private Limited with facilities in all our operational areas raised to manufacture and test power and distribution transformers upto 25MVA/132KV Class under the name of SUPREME POWER EQUIPMENT PRIVATE LIMITED (SPEL).
